Important note on recipient verification from 09.10.2025
From the 09 October 2025 all banks in Germany have a mandatory recipient verification for transfers.
This means:
Before a transfer is executed, it is checked whether the specified recipient name familiar with the IBAN matches.
What changes for you?

If there are differences between the name and the IBAN, the bank may refuse the transfer delay, reject or Confirmation from you Request.

Please make sure in future that correct recipient name as it is stored by the payee.

This measure serves to Safety and should Incorrect transfers and fraud cases prevent.
